Summary/Blurb:

Lexie is a werewolf and a bodyguard. She has been hired by the vampire Frederick to make sure his resident geek, Anthony, lives through a conference where he has been invited to talk about his recent research about DNA, and more especially a certain kind of UV allergy.

Review:

The Geek Job by Eve Langlais is filled with humor, and I caught myself laughing at loud in several Instances.  For example on the very first page, while Lexie is talking about her fee : “Damn, given what a high class call girl goes for these days, I should be asking for more”.

Lexie is getting fed up with being single, and thinks a little fling with “the geek” she has been hired to guard might do her some good. Little did she know that Anthony is both tall and handsome with a deliciously muscular body, and that instead of seducing him, his shyness might end up seducing her. Their attraction is there from the very first meeting, and just a look can make sparks fly between them, no matter where they are.

This story has different angle on the cross-species relationships, and Anthony is an interesting character, both smart and handsome. Lexie is a strong woman, who needs to lead, but when it comes to Anthony, she is able to think about having a real relationship with a man who can lead her.

This was a fun read!
